The cheer team coaches at Innovation Cheer are driven by a desire to inspire, motivate, and empower. Our young athletes are encouraged to chase their passions and achieve their goals.
Valuing safety and professionalism, the staff on the Innovation Cheer Team consists of a number of highly awarded, respected, and dedicated coaches. All of the cheer team coaches at Innovation Cheer are dedicated to the development of skills and knowledge for our young athletes. Ranging from college cheerleaders to gymnasts to choreographers, our staff has individuals of diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

Allison Troupe
Founder & Owner As the owner and founder of Innovation Cheer, Allison has a great passion for encouraging young athletes. She wants to see students achieve their goals in tumbling and cheer, regardless of age or skill level. Allison was a member of her high school cheer team and was a competitive gymnast. When her daughter reached middle school, Allison decided to start coaching middle school football cheer. In addition, she coached the local competition cheer team. |
While considering the next step in their cheerleading careers, an important discussion was held. Allison’s daughter and a group of her friends made the decision that they wanted to experience an All-Star Cheer Team together.
With a new passion and drive and young athletes ready to go, Allison decided to lay the solid foundations and vision of Innovation Cheer.
Allison has earned USASF Credentials in Levels 1 and 2, PCA Certification, and ASEP (ConcussionWise, HeatWise, CardiacWise) Certification.

Over the last few years, the Innovation Cheer Team has continued to grow with new facilities, brand new equipment, and enthusiastic staff.
From humble beginnings, Allison is ready to introduce new athletes to cheerleading and tumbling. In addition, she is excited to drive both experienced and novice young athletes to great success on the classes recreational and All-Star teams!

Olivia Finkey, Tumbling Class Instructor - Beginners, Head Coach for Prep & Novice Teams
Olivia Finkey
Head of Beginner Tumbling Class Program, Jumps Class Instructor, Head Coach Mini Novice & Beginner Elite Teams Olivia started cheerleading at LAFA when she was little, and cheered there for 6 years. She continued to cheer all 4 years at Henderson High School on their sideline and competition teams. She was JV captain her sophomore year, and captain of the Varsity team both her Junior and Senior years. During her senior year, she qualified as a UCA All American. She currently cheers at Cabrini University, and is in her third year on their sideline basketball cheer squad. She started coaching with Allison as an assistant middle school cheer team coach in her Junior year and Senior year in high school.
When Allison started Innovation Cheer, Olivia joined as an assistant coach for their first team. She helped coach Innovation’s first Mini Novice team last year, and was also a member of their Open Level 4 team. This year, she is the head coach for the Mini Novice and Prep Youth Level 1 teams. |

Program Director, Flyer & Stunting Class Instructor, Coach Level 2 & 3 Elite Teams Kaitlyn began cheerleading in middle school and continued through college, where she cheered and competed for Rowan University. She was the captain of the cheer squad her senior year. Throughout college, she coached summer camps and clinics with Spirit Brands. After college, she was the head varsity cheer coach at Christopher Dock High School for 4 years. In 2016, she started as the Rebel Athletic Account Manager for PA, where she met Allison as a customer in 2017.

Kaitlyn joined Innovation Cheer in 2018 as a coach and an athlete. She currently coaches Senior levels 2 + 3 and coaches flyer classes.
I hope to encourage a love of cheer in athletes and inspire them to reach their full potential."

Tara Kenny
Flyer & Stunting Class Instructor, Coach Level 3 Elite Team Tara Kenny has been with Innovation Cheer and Tumbling for the past two years, both as a coach and as an athlete. She has experience competing for middle school, high school, college, and all star level 4. In high school, she competed with a district and national championship-winning varsity team. In addition, she was the recipient of the MVP award all four years. In college, Tara was a member of the Elmira College cheerleading game team, Danceline dance team, captain of the cheer team, and recipient of the coach’s choice award.

She is a member of USASF and has coached for the past four years for high school, all star level 2, level 3, novice, stunt group, and duo.
Tara’s career highlights include winning a national championship in high school and becoming a team captain; she did this as a sophomore for her college cheer team.

Coach Mini Novice & Beginner Elite Teams Sherry has many years of experience coaching Recreational Cheer, Allstar, and School Cheer. She is currently a coach for Villa Maria Academy Cheer Team and her daughter is a member of Innovation Cheer's Level 2 team. |

Conditioning Coach & Tumbling Instructor Intermediate & Advanced Tumbling Classes Morgan is a recent Temple graduate with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Morgan was a member of the Temple cheer team and is a UCA instructor. |
